Free Arts Summer Camp

Free Arts Summer Camp

Students discover Spanish through the magic of storytelling and art. Each week, children read a new book and create an art project inspired by the story, strengthening vocabulary, comprehension, and creativity along the way. This is the perfect blend of PRAA's Mini Makers and Literacy and Crafts course for two weeks of summer. Class material will be provided by PRAA. Each participant will need to bring their own lunch.

Meet Our Instructors

Claudia Lopez
Studio Arts Program Instructor

Educator with a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist and a Bilingual Endorsement. She has taught in Chicago Public Schools, supervised student teachers at National Louis University, and currently teaches 3rd grade while serving on the instructional leadership team in District 68. Claudia also leads the Little Genius class at PRAA.
