Our Volunteer Opportunities

Event Support Roles

Assist with guest check-in, food and beverage service, bartending (Basset Certificate
required), event set-up and clean-up, and providing directions to ensure smooth and welcoming event experiences.

Fundraising & Promotions

Share your talents and resources with our community. From musical instruments to professional services, your contributions help us thrive.

Leadership & Committees

Join committees to strengthen PRAA by supporting fundraising efforts, planning cultural events, and promoting events through ticket sales, outreach, and active participation.

Program Support

Work with staff to assist in delivering PRAA’s arts and education programs, enriching community access to Puerto Rican arts and culture.

Special Event Volunteer Needs

Support PRAA’s signature events, such as Noche Caribeña, Baila Conmigo Block Party, and The National Cuatro Festival by assisting with registration, greeting, raffle ticket sales, food and beverage service, set-up, break-down, and guest direction to ensure memorable community celebrations.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • Reliable and flexible availability
  • Age 16 or older
  • Willing to commit to specified position hours
  • Consent to background check (guardian consent required if under 16)
  • Attend volunteer orientation/meeting
