Beginner Drums

Alejandro Salazar is a drummer and educator who promotes love, peace, and unity through music. Rooted in Afro-Cuban and Black American traditions, he blends cultural knowledge with performance excellence. A 2025 Luminarts Fellow, he has performed worldwide-from Chicago's Green Mill and Jazz Showcase to Jazz à la Villette in Paris, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. He's passionate about inspiring young musicians to connect through rhythm and creativity.
