Position Overview

PRAA is seeking a Marketing & School Program Coordinator to support both the organization’s digital storytelling efforts and in-school arts programming at one of our key 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and scheduling content across PRAA’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Capture photo and video content from programs, events, and school sites  
  • Create engaging posts, reels, and stories that highlight student impact and cultural programming  
  • Design marketing materials such as flyers, email blasts, and digital content.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters, as needed  
  • Maintain a content calendar aligned with PRAA programs and events  
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications  

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, Education, or a related field  
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or program coordination  
  • Strong skills in content creation, including photo/video capture and basic editing  
  • Capable understanding of design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  
  • Comfortability working in schools, youth programs, or community-based organizations is strongly preferred  
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred  
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends in alignment with event needs  

Work Environment

This is primarily an in-person full-time role with responsibilities at PRAA’s main campus (3000 N Elbridge, Chicago, IL) and some opportunities for remote work depending on project needs and availability.

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
