Christine Abigaíl Meinders

Christine Abigaíl Meinders is an emerging interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Chicago working primarily in ceramics and fiber art. Christine recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio with a focus in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is invested in autobiographical and emotional research, commonly using familial archives in her work. Through the use of fiber, print, ceramics, and archival imagery, Christine expresses the complexities of control and lack of control in one’s life.
