Ruth “Drussy” Hernandez is a distinguished figure in Chicagoland real estate. With over 30 years of experience, she approaches her work as a chance to improve people’s lives which have shaped her leadership as Vice President of Broker Services and Designated Managing Broker for Coldwell Banker Realty, where she mentors agents and supports their growth. Her impact has earned major recognition, including Managing Broker of the Year, Realtor of the Year, and induction into the National Association of Realtors Hall of Fame.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Evanston, Drussy began her career in social work, specializing in child abuse cases—an experience that strengthened her compassion. She entered real estate in 1984, where she become known for her integrity and dedication to helping clients and colleagues succeed.
A past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, she remains active in numerous professional organizations and community efforts, including serving on the board of the House of Good Shepherd and the senior leadership of the the North Shore Spanish Baptist Church in Chicago. Her belief in hard work, collaboration, and shared success continues to guide her mission to help clients and colleagues achieve their goals.
